Quaint Danish apartment of positive poster designers
We love Danish designers and styles at Interior Classics and wanted to showcase this Danish apartment. This three room apartment in the Nørrebro a cool quarter of the Danish capital belongs to Kathrine Højriis and Thomas Bærnholdt, owners of positive poster company I Love My Type. The furniture has been selected simply because they love it and the walls are covered in an array of wonderful prints including some of their own. We'd recommend looking at their selection of posters, which are fun and life-affirming messages - any they ship internationally.
We hope you enjoy the tour and get some decorating ideas from this lovely home.
As expected from a couple that run a poster business, there is an amazing selection of artwork and posters in the living room and an unusual thick, natural wooden dining table with a set of Eames Eiffel chairs that suite nicely.
A better view of the dining table and more artwork shows a cozy, homely look with interesting artwork to give the home an eccentric feel. In typical Scandinavian style, the white floors look fantastic and light.
The furnishings are eclectic with this almost antique set of filing cabinets, decorated with a large black Ferruccio Lamp to add some designer style.
The eclectic look continues in the bedroom, which has quite basic furnishings including a clothes rack and a white Anna Castelli Componibili. The designer touches are a great way to accessorise the home and give it extra charm in a very livable and comfortable home.
If you like these touches, please let us know if you'd like to see the Interior Classics reproductions of these pieces to produce the look at your home.
