Home tour of German photographer in renovated factory full of mid-century designer pieces
These images are from the home of photographer, Petra Reger, who with husband Eddie, have renovated this factory in Bavaria, Germany. The original floor boards had to be removed for safety reasons and have been restored and re-used for furniture and shelving, which create a fantastic retro-industrial look. Petra kept as much of the original building in tact, limiting changes to polishing the concrete floors and powdercoating the door and window frames in a gloss deep black, that matches their light fittings and vintage furniture and accessories (including a classic typewriter).
The transformation took only one year and the result is a spectacular family home with style and loads of character. There are also plenty of mid-century designer pieces to admire - many reproductions of which we have available at Interior Classics. Hope you enjoy the home tour ...
